Lucas County Solid Waste Management District accepts old tires for the following fees:

• $1.25 passenger
• $1.55 passenger with rim
• $1.55 pick up truck
• $1.95 pick up truck with rim
• $7.50 semi-truck
• $10.00 semi-truck with rim
• $15.00 (starting at) tractor

In addition, most auto shops will accept tires for a fee. Some retail store that sell tires may also take them when you buy new tires.

Remember:  Ohio law prohibits disposal of whole tires in landfills. Tires that are shredded are acceptable.
